With two decades of industry experience, John Song advises industry-leading companies on mergers & acquisitions, corporate divestitures, financing, and other corporate strategies. John’s transaction experience includes sell-side advisory, buy-side advisory and leveraged buy-outs for founder-owned businesses, private equity-owned companies, and U.S. and international corporate divestitures. His recent transaction experience includes Carlyle’s acquisition of ManTech, the sale of Everwatch to Booz Allen Hamilton, and the sale of Novetta to Accenture. John joined Baird in 2018 from Houlihan Lokey, where was co-head of the Government Services investment banking team. Prior to that, he spent several years working in structured finance at firms such as Credit Suisse First Boston, Deutsche Bank, and Bankers Trust.
