Dave Komendat is a security executive with 40 years of experience across the security profession. He currently serves as Partner and Chief Security Officer for Corporate Security Advisors, Board President of The Security Foundation (TSF), and founder and President of DSKomendat Risk Management Services.
Mr. Komendat retired as Vice President and Chief Security Officer of The Boeing Company, a role he held for 14 years. At Boeing, he was responsible for global security and fire protection, executive protection, supply chain and aviation security, government and proprietary information security, classified cybersecurity, strategic intelligence, international security, business continuity, disaster preparedness, structural and aircraft fire protection, and the Global Security Operations Center.
He has been a prominent voice in national and international security policy, serving as past co-chairman and board member of the Domestic Security Alliance Council (DSAC), past President of the International Security Management Association (ISMA), and member of the Overseas Security Advisory Council (OSAC). He also serves on the Board of Directors for Hostage U.S., The Security Foundation, and as a Strategic Engagement Advisor to the FBI's Office of Private Sector. In 2018, FBI Director Christopher Wray presented him with the Director's Award for Exceptional Public Service.
